Fountainhead Christian Center has closed after nearly 22 years of ministry in Natomas. The final service was Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the American Lakes School in the South Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento, California.
Fountainhead Christian Center church in the Natomas area of Sacramento, California was founded in 1988. Pastors Mike and Cynthia Stipech came to Natomas for the purpose of establishing a church to meet the needs of Natomas area residents and the church did just that for nearly 22 years. In July of 2009 Pastor Mike and Cynthia accepted a leadership position at Life Pacific College in Southern California. Upon their departure, interim pastors were appointed but were unable to continue. As a result, a decision was made to close the church. This church family has had a deep commitment to Natomas and Sacramento and to those who call this area home. We wish to thank all who have been a part of our lives over the last 22 years. We hope and pray we made a lasting contribution to our community.
